Bloodhound knights are fast-moving enemies and can easily strike before you even know what’s going on behind them. These enemies are terrifying enemies you don’t want to touch unless you’re ready. There are plenty of opportunities to fight these enemies outside the boss room, but only two boss variants can be found. Luckily, these bosses offer pretty good items if you can defeat them. You can find all the Bloodhound Knight bosses in the Elden Ring here.
The first Bloodhound Knight to be encountered in the entire game is in Limgrave and comes in the form of a boss. You’ll find one of the Evergaols on a hill overlooking the Bridge of Sacrifice, southeast of where you start your journey. This Evergaol is called Everygaol by Forlorn Hound and is home to the Bloodhound Knight Darriwil. This boss is part of Blaidd’s quest line, but you don’t have to defeat it. You can challenge this boss as soon as you enter the land of Sai, but it will be a bit difficult. Defeat Darriwil to get Bloodhound’s fang weapon.
After the game, you will eventually head north through Stormveil Castle to the lands of Liurnia. This beautiful lakeside area is home to many magical beings and deadly enemies. After arriving at the lake, follow the western cliffs and you will find the Lakeside Crystal Cave. Descend down the cave, ready to face the other bloodhound knights. Defeating this enemy will reward you with a Turquoise Pumpkin Medallion. You will also be able to access other summoning ashes behind the cave for an extra bonus for your efforts.
