Developer Coffee Stain has announced that the legendary comedy-adventure game Goat Simulator has found a home in Apple Arcade. It’s been available on the regular app store for a while, but now any current subscriber of the popular subscription service can download and enjoy to the fullest.
Ah, goat simulator. If you’re like me, that name takes you quite a few years back to the hottest days on the market that everyone could laugh at. These days, the series has had its time in the limelight, but if you have an excuse to revisit the wild and wild world of Goat Sim, this is it.
Now, unless you’ve ever heard of Goat Simulator like me, it’s hard to explain. Basically, you take on the role of a goat, if you can guess, and cause chaos in a small town full of unusual secrets that you can find with ordinary people. Packed with crazy ragdoll physics, very simple gameplay loops, and easy-to-understand controls, this is a relatively short, not-so-deep experience that’s great when you want to relax and laugh for a while.
It also has a scoring system based on how much destruction and chaos you cause in three in-game stages: the city itself, Gottville, Gott City Bay, and finally Gottville University, Buck to School. This provides good replay value to see if you can outperform your previous score.
Goat Simulator is currently on all platforms by default, so adding it to Apple Arcade is only available to a handful of people who haven’t heard of it or haven’t played it yet. If you would like to do so, you can subscribe to: Apple Arcade Or buy it for $6.99. app store or Google Play at the same price.
